This beautiful 3D scarab brooch is an intricate antique piece from Imperial Russia, an homage to the iconic Faberge, from the pre-revolutionary period of the early 1900's. Crafted of 14k yellow gold, this symbolic pin features a chalcedony cabochon as the abdomen and seed pearls that decorate the thorax and head portion. The mandibles clutch a pearl at the tip of the brooch with pink sapphire and seed pearl accents. The eyes are bezel set demantoid garnet with a ruby detail in between.
